Spring Photo Diary: day 6

There were photos from yesterday's snowstorm, but they were accidentally deleted before posting. We got around 3/4" of snow last night, which nearly all melted in today's 33-degree sun -- all but on the shady north side of the trees (see second photo).

The daffodils look a little sad, but they're definitely out!

Spring Photo Diary: day 3

Not much change is visible yet after last night's thunderstorm, but...

the daffodils could open as early as tomorrow! Too bad snow is forecast for Thursday night.

Spring Photo Diary: day 1

The trees are thinking seriously about budding, but they're still just swelling right now. The daffodils are eager, though. It's been very dry since the last snowfall, but we're supposed to get some more rain tomorrow.
